Hi, I'm Sydnee!
I believe every session should feel both comfortable and genuine. I always tell my clients that if they don't feel natural, they won't look natural--the best pictures come from real connection and trust. I want you to feel confident and free to be yourself, and I'm pretty good at helping you to feel that way.
Family is one of the most important things in my life, and it's definitely affected how I see and capture my clients. Every session I have comes with a genuine love of storytelling. My own understanding of important relationships helps me know exactly how to tell your story because I'm able to see you for who you are. My focus is on creating images that feel true to you and remain meaningful long after the moment has passed.
A Little More About Me
I'm based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and also offer travel photography. I'm a photographer, a mom, and someone who truly values connection - both behind the camera and the people I work with.
Photography has been part of my life since I was 16, when I got my first camera. At first, I took photos constantly but didn't fully understand how to make them look the way they felt. Learning to shoot in manual and truly understand light, color, and composition completely changed everything for me.
What mattered most wasn't just capturing the moment - it was creating images that truly reflected it.
My Approach
I'll take the time to get to know you before your session, so we're comfortable with each other before the session even starts. During our session, I'll give you prompts that encourage movement and interaction. The result is a blend of naturally posed and candid images that tell your story in a way that reflects you.
I started by photographing friends and family, which naturally grew into working with couples, families, engagements, weddings, and newborns. As my photography career has grown, my approach has stayed the same: capturing your moments while making the entire experience enjoyable.
